Enjoy an array of funny to touching to just plain odd, historically accurate shows as Hastings College presents, “44 Plays for 44 Presidents”. The production runs from Thursday, October 4 – Saturday, October 6 at 8:00 p.m., and on Sunday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. Additionally, HC will host a special election night performance will be on Tuesday, November 6 at 8:00 p.m. All performances will be in the Scott Studio Theatre (806 N. Turner Ave.) The play does contain minimal adult language.

The Box Office opens Thursday, September 27 and will remain open Monday-Friday from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are $8 general and $5 for seniors and non-HC students. Call (402) 461-7380 or e-mail tickets@hastings.edu.

Hastings College joins 44 other theatre companies across the U.S. simultaneously producing the play leading up to the 2012 Presidential Election. In conjunction with the festival, HC will exhibit local artists’ renditions of America’s 44 presidents in the Scott Theatre. Then, during the week of the 2013 Presidential Election, HC will show a feature film with footage from the productions across the country. On election night, all 44 companies will simultaneously perform the play as results are tallied.
